Morning – Journey into Can Gio Mangrove Forest

  • Travel by air-conditioned bus to Can Gio district, a UNESCO-recognized biosphere reserve.
  • Explore Monkey Island, home to more than 1,000 wild monkeys. Have fun interacting with them, but be mindful of your belongings as they are curious creatures!
  • Visit the Hoa Ca Crocodile Reserve where you can observe massive crocodiles basking in their natural habitat.
  • Take a walk through the Rung Sac Guerrilla Base, a reconstructed historical military camp hidden within the mangrove forest. Discover how soldiers used this area for covert operations during the war.

Afternoon – Relax and Explore

  • Enjoy a seafood lunch at a local restaurant, with the option to try freshly caught shrimp, crab, and fish.
  • Stop by the Can Gio seafood market, where you can purchase fresh seafood or enjoy snacks.
  • Optional: Take a canoe ride through the mangrove forest for a closer view of the flora and fauna (additional 100,000 VND/person).
